2008 Memorial Ornament
 Each year, during Mason General Hospital Foundation’s Fantasy Forest, there is a special memorial tree dedicated to people who passed away and who had been loyal supporters of the Foundation and Mason General Hospital.
This year’s memorial tree is dedicated to the memory of Lillian Peste, Ed Stock and Dr. Mark Trucksess.
The memorial ornament selected for the tree this year is a blown glass ball beautifully boasting iridescent, red and gold tones.
This ornament was made exclusively for Fantasy Forest 2008 by Bryan Rubino of Rubino Glass and will not be reproduced.
Memorial ornaments are purchased in memory of those who have passed away or in honor of those who are loved.
Their names and the purchasers’ names are recorded in a memory book on display by the memorial tree. The ornaments are displayed on the memorial tree for the duration of Fantasy Forest. The purchasers receive their ornaments the week after the final day of events. The ornaments may be picked up at the Development Office after Monday, December 8, 2008 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or arrangements made with the Development Office for later pickup or delivery. Proceeds from the memorial ornaments benefit Public Hospital District No.1, consisting of Mason General Hospital, Oakland Bay Pediatrics, Mt. View Surgical Services, Mason County Eye Clinic and North Mason Medical Clinic. Each ornament will be boxed, containing the purchaser’s name and the person for whom it was dedicated.
To purchase a memorial ornament, please download and complete this form and either mail it to: MGHF, PO Box l668, Shelton, WA 98584, or take the completed form to the Development Office located in Gateway Center behind McDonalds.
The deadline for accepting orders is Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Orders placed after this date will be displayed but may not have the memorial tag. If you have any questions or need more information, please call Meghan at the Development Office at (360) 427-3623. Thank you.
FANTASY FOREST RAFFLE TICKETS - TO WIN DINNER AT GALA NOW ON SALE
- DRAWING AT 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
The raffle tickets are now on sale to win an elegant night out for two to Mason General Hospital Foundation’s 13th Annual Fantasy Forest “Where the Treetops Glisten” Gala and Live Auction set for Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Pavilion at Sentry Park.
Tickets are $5 each, and available for purchase to anyone who currently works in any aspect of healthcare. Five drawings will take place at Mason General Hospital’s 40th Anniversary celebration on Friday, October 31 in the Ellinor Room at 3:30 p.m. Each ticket drawn provides seating for two at a “Sapphire Level Table,” reserved only for healthcare workers. The winners need not be present to win.

WIN A 7-FOOT DESIGNER HOLIDAY TREE
Raffle tickets are now on sale to win an elegant seven-foot holiday tree from a selection of three designer trees at Mason General Hospital Foundation’s 13th Annual Fantasy Forest “Where the Treetops Glisten” event on November 18 - 22, 2008 at The Pavilion at Sentry Park.
The tickets are $5 each and all proceeds benefit the Mason General Hospital Foundation. The drawing will be held following the Swing Fever event on Friday, November 21, at 10 p.m. in the Pavilion. The winner need not be present to win. Trees must be selected by winner by Saturday, November 22 between 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
