Centennial Hospital Guild presents the
Goldsborough Creek Run/Walk/Jog
A Mason County Forest Festival Event
with
proceeds to benefit Mason General Hospital Foundation
The Goldsborough Creek Fun/Run and Walk (2- and 7-mile walk or run) was held on Saturday, June 5 as a part of the Forest Festival activities. There were nearly 350 participants – from all over the state. Centennial Guild was the organizer of the event which raised more than $5,000 for Mason General Hospital.
In 2009 the Guild's fund raising efforts, which included this event, allowed them to donate $5,000 towards the purchase of the MGH Digital Mammogram machine. Over the years, Centennial Guild created the MGH Wellness Garden and helped with the purchase of the electronic reader board on N. 13th Street. In addition, the Guild has purchased several pieces of hospital equipment since forming 20 years ago.
