Shelton Family Medicine (SFM) – co-founded by John V. Butler, M.D. and Timothy J. Weber, M.D. in 1978 and 1977 respectively – joined the family of Mason General Hospital and Clinics in April, 2009. 

Public Hospital District No.1 which consists of Mason General Hospital, MGH Ankle and Foot, MGH Eye Clinic, Oakland Bay Pediatrics, MGH Surgery Clinic, Mountain View Women's Health Clinic, MGH Shelton Orthopedics, and Shelton Family MedicineSFM is a full-service family medical clinic that provides pediatric care, adult care, geriatrics, gynecology, women’s health issues, and osteoporosis/bone scans.

“Doctors Butler and Weber have built a clinic that has served this community well over the years,” said Bob Appel, CEO of MGH.  “We plan to work hard to maintain and build on this reputation.”  The staff and physicians at SFM remain the same, as have the clinic hours, and its acceptance of most insurance plans, including Group Health.  Other healthcare providers at SFM include Doris H. Wilson, M.D. and Bonnie J. Davis, M.D., and physician’s assistants, Resa Delany and Katie Hackney. 

The clinic is located at 939 Mtn. View Dr., Ste. 100, Shelton.  The clinic opens at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday, and please call for evening and weekend hours.

Butler Weber Wilson Davis
John V. Butler, M.D.
Family Practice
Dr. Butler grew up in Bremerton and graduated from the University of Washington.  He received his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.  Dr. Butler participated in the family practice residency program at Doctors Hospital in Seattle (now known as Swedish Hospital Medical Center) before joining Dr. Tim Weber at Shelton Family Medicine in 1978. He also has his Master’s in Healthcare Administration, University of Washington. Dr. Butler and his wife, Esther, havefive grown children.  His hobbies include hiking, cabinetmaking, and fly fishing.
Timothy J. Weber, M.D.
Family Practice
Dr. Weber chose family practice because he enjoys the variety and prefers treating the “whole” person.  He came to Shelton in 1977 and joined Dr. Bruce Pederson in opening their practice – Shelton Family Medicine .

Dr. Weber and his wife, Kathy, have four grown children.
Doris H. Wilson, M.D.
Family Practice
Dr. Wilson was raised in the Skokomish Valley, outside of Shelton.  She and her husband, Talmage, spent approximately 17 years in Africa as missionaries.  She was also a staff physician at Seattle Pacific College for five years.  She returned to Shelton in 1981 andjoined the staff at Shelton FamilyMedicine.

Dr. Wilson enjoys gardening, playing the piano, hymnology, and spending time with her family.  She and her late-husband have five grown children and several grandchildren.
Bonnie J. Davis, M.D.
Family Practice
Dr. Davis is originally from the state of Washington and is excited to be “back home” practicing medicine.  She enjoys doing medical mission work and has spent time in Africa serving as a missionary. Dr. Davis’ interests include spending time with her husband, Jonathan, and children and swimming, skiing and hiking.
